Like any other item of clothing, a suit should be chosen according to each person's body shape. Therefore, you won't choose the same style if you're short and stocky or if you're tall and slender.
Choosing the right jacket The two-button jacket is a basic when it comes to suit jackets. Its straight cut has the advantage of suiting all body types. What's more, it's a versatile style, perfect for a casual or more formal look. The three-button jacket, on the other hand, is more vintage, as is the double-breasted jacket. Very elegant, this one is currently making a big comeback! Whatever your choice, pay close attention to the placement of the shoulder seams. Also, opt for a slightly fitted cut to enhance your silhouette.
The Different Types of Pants When it comes to pants, the most common style remains the straight cut without pleats. These pants suit all body types. Semi-slim pants, on the other hand, bring a modern touch to suits and slim the leg. Conversely, pleated pants add volume and offer a more retro effect.
At IZAC, every element is important, and our costumes are crafted with real attention to detail. Here are some of the distinctive features you'll find on our designs.
On the suit jacket, the natural horn buttons are very striking and are a guarantee of quality. The buttonhole allows you to accessorize the suit, for example by adding a lapel pin or a flower. The notched lapel serves to structure the silhouette. Ideally, it should be 9 cm wide. If you have a large build, it is better to avoid a lapel that is too thin. Finally, on the button side, having four buttonholes on the sleeves is an elegant detail.

When it comes to trousers, piped and buttoned back pockets are a classic. These aren't designed to be worn, but simply serve to accessorize suit trousers and add a touch of chic. For added comfort, some trousers also feature a V-shaped cutout at the waist in the back. A 4- to 5-cm turn-up at the bottom of the trousers adds weight to the fabric and helps it drape better. The drawstrings on the sides of the trousers allow you to adjust the waist, which is ideal if you don't want to wear a belt.
You've chosen your suit, now you need to choose the right size to ensure it flatters your figure as it should. Discover our tips for choosing the right suit size in our guide .
